Please do not unbold teams[edit]

Please do not unbold teams eliminated from league playoffs. It's not done on league pages such as MLS, NASL, USL, EPL. It shouldn't be done for the PDL page. We need to stay consistent. It's alright to unbold on elimination tournaments like the FA Cup and the US Cup.GrouchoPython (talk) 16:39, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I understand why you wouldn't do it for normal league games, but for the elimination part of the playoffs - it makes sense to unbold the eliminated teams - since they are eliminated, just like in elmination tournaments. --Trödel 18:00, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a well established rule. League season pages generally do not report individual game scores using the {{footballbox collapsible}} template because the are reported on the team's page where they can be green (for a win) or red (for a loss). Since the individual seasons of PDL teams (IMHO) are generally not worthy of separate articles, using the green/red paradigm won't work since there isn't a "article team". Therefore, it make sense for easier readability to unbold the team that is eliminate from the footballbox similar to what is done in the playoff bracket. see 2014 D.C. United season and 2014 Major League Soccer season where only the bracket is on the league page and the team page has clear red and green shading to indicate the winner. --Trödel 19:56, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
