Counting[edit]

I am copyeditng this thing and in doing so I have just mistakenly said that sources do not give the day of the count. In fact, the Pioneer source does say that the count would take place on 24 November but the story was published on 18 November and things can change. I'm not reverting myself because, really, it is trivial padding to the article. - Sitush (talk) 08:26, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No problem I have used The Pioneer citation for adding the same. Many thanks for the copyedit. --Skr15081997 (talk) 08:35, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Still working on it. Election articles of this type have a very obvious structure to them: (1) cause, place, (2) campaign, (3) outcome. This one was jumbled up. - Sitush (talk) 08:38, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Cultural nationalism"[edit]

What is the difference between cultural nationalism (a phrase we use in the article) and Hindutva, which is what the BJP are usually described as favouring. They sound like the same thing to me and I think we might have to explain both that phrase and the opposition's "religious polarisation". Imagine you are reading the article and are not familiar with India: the terms are vague and need some sort of context. - Sitush (talk) 08:52, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
