Offensive?[edit]

I don't think it's an offensive. It's rather looks like a counter attack that can sit in Ithriyah-Raqqa offensive (February 2016–present). An Offensive needs 2 thing: Aim and permanent result. Until now there are several time that ISIS and others cut this road but because of geography it's clear that the road always - in days or weeks - will became open. P. Here, a few sources clearly calling it an offensive [1][2] (I can look for more). In regards to aim and permanent result its pretty clear, cutting the one and only government supply line, which has happened and been pointed out in the international media outlets. Finally, no sources linking it to the Ithriyah-Raqqa offensive (which is taking place in two totally different provinces). We can make a strategic analysis section (as we did in the other articles) to point out this may be coming as a direct result/response of the recent SAA advances at the Aleppo thermal power plant (north) and on the Ithriya-Raqqa road (south). Of course if we found sources corroborating it that is. EkoGraf (talk) 06:22, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
