AFC states quite clearly: "the MAs ranked 1 to 24 will be eligible to play in the AFC Champions League". Philippines are 25th.Edgar (talk) 05:05, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Official Entry Manual[edit]
Based on the statutes http://www.the-afc.com/uploads/afc/files/afc_statutes_2015_final.pdf this would change the distribution of teams (India, Maldives go to West). Singapore would be in the CL play-offs, with Oman out.Edgar (talk) 14:13, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
