Hopman Cup separation[edit]

There is problem separating the Hopman Cup matches away from the main singles matches as they should also count as singles matches played this season. I can see where someone could argue that as a team event it should be in a separate chart, and that would be fine except that Davis Cup matches seem to be counted in Federer's 2014 season. If one is in they should all be in, or vice versa. Hopman Cup is an official sanctioned event. Fyunck(click) (talk) 05:07, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you are talking about his season totals, those Hopman Cup matches are official and ITF recognized. If you are talking about only ATP events, then they can be omitted... but Davis Cup should also be omitted in that case. Fyunck(click) (talk) 10:17, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Federer "back injury"[edit]

Per several sources and the official Rolex Masters twitter feed, Federer withdrew from the Paris Masters with a back injury. I realize that there are other sources that say it was more of a preventative withdrawal from the event, so I sourced the official twitter feed but changed the wording from "Withdrew due to back injury" to "Withdrew due to back issues." That should be a little more flexible in terminology to cover all sides of the sourcing. Fyunck(click) (talk) 05:03, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
