Before anyone complains about the "rail accident" category, please see the discussion at Talk:2015 Wootton Bassett SPAD incident#Categories. This is a similar situation re categorisation. Mjroots (talk) 17:31, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Train numbers[edit]

@Redrose64: - I've reverted your alteration of train numbers. I would not expect Rail to make an error such as that. The train was definitely bound for Tunbridge Wells (it arrived at Tonbridge 300 late). Southeastern were not operating their normal timetable, so it may be that train numbers and scheduled departure times do not correlate to that timetable. My source is Working Timetable Book WC01F, page 151, column 1212. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:19, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: I've had to make one alteration to the train reporting numbers, based on the RAIB final report. Three new trains have been mentioned. Can you provide details of them and reference same? Mjroots (talk) 13:33, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Away from home at the moment (actually in Wapping) but will try to remember to look into that. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 10:55, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Train 2S56[edit]

The text currently states: "Train 2S56 came to a stand just after passing New Cross."

I was on this train (17:36 from CHX), and it actually came to a stop before reaching New Cross station, with the front DM spanning the bridge over Rolt Street, just short of the steps down to the Network Rail works storage area behind Milton Court Road (through which passengers subsequently self-detrained). The RAIB report clearly shows (page 12) 2S56 to the west of New Cross station, with 2H50 standing on the platform there. I am therefore amending the text to reflect this.
