  • "The start line was positioned on the Via Cristoforo Colombo and the finish line was positioned near the Marconi Obelisk." I'm lost, aren't the start and finish lines usually the same thing in Motorsport?

    • @Courcelles: That is all the points covered. To answer your question, yes the start and finish lines are for the most part on permanent road and oval circuits placed together. With Formula E, the start and finish line are in different places because of various factors, such as available space around the track owing to the local infrastructure.
