@Dellux mkd: Nobody calls on Wikipedia Real Madrid CF, instead of Real Madrid. And Corona 2010 Brașov now is only Corona Brașov, check the new logo. We call them CSM București and SCM Craiova because there is no team name (just the town). FC Dinamo București is written like this FC Dinamo București|Dinamo București everywhere same as in the case of Real Madrid. Regarding Gloria Bistrița, the number is not important, they added 2018 and Năsăud (county name; also not important) because CS Gloria Bistrița was already registered back in the past and they went insolvent. I am from Romania so I know, I did not come here to lie you. It is very important to call them under the traditional name. When we shout their name in the stands, we say just Gloria, Corona or Măgura, if not their town name! Only in the case of Bucharest and Craiova they are also known as CSM and SCM respectively. One more thing, it also applies to the others, Real Madrid is registered Real Madrid CF at UEFA, but we call it just Real Madrid on Wikipedia in Champions League and other competitions. - @ Dphwiki. How romanian clubs are known in Romania is one thing, and how romanian clubs are oficially named in EHF is another thing. Here are some examples:
Veszprem in seaseon 2017–18 was MVM Veszprem and now is Telekom Veszprém. Vive Kielce in season 2016–17 was named Vive Tauron Kielce, later was Vive Targi Kielce and now is PGE Vive Kielce. Barcelona in the season 2018–19 was named Barcelona Lassa and this season it is just Barça. There are many more examples. Regarding to Gloria Bistrita, in the Season overview] is called CS Gloria 2018. Thats why i put that name. On the EHF site it is called CS Gloria 2018 Bistrita-Nasaud, i agree we can name the club CS Gloria 2018 Bistrita. Thanks. Dellux mkd (talk) 22:21, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Dellux mkd: It is a big difference, those are sponsors! Telekom, Tauron and Lassa. Stop wanting to have the last word, because we must make the difference between clubs called CSM and SCM only adding their town name! Nobody calls them CS Măgura Cisnădie but Măgura Cisnădie. On the other hand, yes, we have SCM Craiova and CSM Bucuresti. Because they are alone. Look at UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, on Wikipedia it's written REAL MADRID not REAL MADRID CF. What you don't understand? UEFA says REAL MADRID CF but on Wikipedia they are only Real Madrid. But the link is there, it redirects to Real Madrid CF. - @Dphwiki: It's not about having the last word. Even Gloris Bistrita article on Wikipedia is CS Gloria 2018 Bistrița-Năsăud. I'm not changing it's name. Just following the sources. And yes the clubs change it's names because the sponsors. Sometimes clubs change their whole name because the sponsors. We can't stick to the old name. For example Saint Petersburg HC changed it's name in to HC Neva SPb, which is completely different. it's hilarious. You show up here you have 5 edits and all of them undoing Romanian clubs names according to Romanian sources. Every year clubs change their names because sponsors and it is practice to follow EHF official reports and news article. I'm doing just that, noting else.
