playoff bracket[edit]

I am not sure how to do it, but the bracket needs to be modified to show that it is not a fixed bracket. The rules are clear that the 1st seed plays the lowest ranked winner, not the winner of the 4/5 game (pg 47)18abruce (talk) 03:59, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think any modification is required. In cases where re-seeding takes place, it is generally shown as a non-fixed bracket before-hand, and then as a normal bracket once the re-seeding takes place. For example, see the MLS playoff bracket before re-seeding and after. In this case, I think the Template:6TeamBracket-NCAA2-with 3rd template can be used before the completion of the qualification games since it isn't yet known which game's winner will play which semi-final, but now that the qualification games are over, the fixed bracket template is appropriate.
