January 2020[edit]

Please note I do not have the power to change articles but that JamieMac did not begin in the Cup Series till 2002. The introduction what he began in 2001 is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daleyeah18 (talkcontribs) 18:48, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Big schedule change[edit]

I'd say there is enough to have the page on now.75.111.23.74 (talk) 00:36, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2020 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series2020 NASCAR Cup Series – NASCAR has already said that Monster won’t be re-upping for 2020 and that it will likely move to a non-sponsored tier of series names Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 16:01, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, especially since we recently moved the main article to NASCAR Cup Series. Rreagan007 (talk) 16:40, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I just reverted a copy/paste move by 99721829Max. I advise waiting for this discussion to be closed, and then it will be moved in the proper way. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 19:28, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – Not only would it be consistent with the parent series page's move to NASCAR Cup Series, but the new sponsorship model will be kicking in anyway. ZappaMatic 00:00, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per above. --Wow (talk) 21:40, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 23 January 2020[edit]

Jamie MacMurray did not begin racing in 2001 like the introduction suggests, his first race the NASCAR cup series was in 2002. Daleyeah18 (talk) 18:50, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 23:45, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also Paul Menards first race was in 2003. Please fix the last sentence of the introduction. Daleyeah18 (talk) 18:51, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

NASCAR has released the entry list for the Daytona 500. B.J. McLeod is listed in the 52 and J.J. Yeley in the 54. For those running the site, please advise and adjust accordingly. Thank you.  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. There is no list of car numbers and drivers for specific races to add this information. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 21:58, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TKR Texas[edit]

Can we all agree that the next driver that enters a race for Vic Keller will be listed as the driver for Texas? NASCAR Enthusiast (talk) 12:56, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No. You're just making assumptions at that point. Some things you just don't know. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 15:17, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tag Removal[edit]

I sectioned and rearranged the lead so that it's smaller. So I removed the tag about it being too long. No information was lost. Balle010 (talk) 00:39, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
