Infobox[edit]

I think that the display of the "Biggest home win" and "Biggest away win" fields in the infobox is inaccurate, given that all the fixtures were played at a single venue and, more precisely, there was only one round played between each team unlike previous seasons. As such, this season lacked any essence of differentiating home and away teams. The "Highest scoring" field alone seems to be the more accurate field to display the feat, given the short season. Hence, aside from inaccuracy, it is redundant to display the "Biggest home win" and "Biggest away win" fields and both should be removed. PatTag2659 (talk) 04:02, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Chino Sator: Re: November 15, 2020. First, the 2019 Philippines Football League had two rounds played, so there was better reason to designate "home" and "away" teams and clearer distinction. But even so, looking at the official fixtures list, the PFL does not seem to distinguish between "home" and "away" teams properly; per head-to-head, the PFL still lists both fixtures in the same order (i.e. listed as "Team X v Team Y" for both rounds, instead of "Team Y v Team X" for the second). But anyways, that is a discussion for the 2019 article. It just shows that, all the more for the 2020 season, displaying the "Biggest home win" and "Biggest away win" fields on the infobox gives an inaccurate reading because all fixtures in 2020 were played at a neutral venue, making the designation of "home" and "away" teams trivial. I may be mistaken, but I believe such designation was purely for administrative purposes, similar to a UEFA Champions League final, simply because there needs to be a team listed on the left column and the other on the right. (If you are to counter argue, perhaps a clearer rationale as to how the PFL designates such, please cite a reliable source)
My point is, the "Biggest home win" and "Biggest away win" fields should be removed in this page because it may confuse or mislead readers. This season did not really encapsulate the purpose as to why those fields are on the football league season infobox to begin with. That purpose is to provide an overview of the successes of teams in maximizing their home advantage ("Biggest home win") and maximizing their loss of such ("Biggest away win") for that season, by displaying the best team who did so for each feat. However, for the 2020 season, with all matches played at the same venue, there was no team who won at home or away in the first place. In this season's context, "Biggest home win" and "Biggest away win" basically refers to "Biggest win by a team designated on the left for administrative purposes" and likewise "Biggest win by a team designated on the right" respectively. And not to mention, for such a short season, the "Highest scoring" field (aside from providing the more accurate reading) is enough to summarize the successes of the participating teams.
