To not merge, as the topics are distinct. Klbrain (talk) 06:50, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This appears to be the extent of the coverage for the time being. For a current event, this article did not grow much in the immediate aftermath; I would say we should merge these two articles unless and until more details emerge. This does not seem to be notable in a manner independent of the political crisis of which it is part. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist(Speak quickly)(Follow my trail) 18:29, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, Zeke. Especially as, to my surprise, the article has not progressed beyond being a stub with information predominantly from August 29.Augusthorsesdroppings10 (talk) 19:11, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
support, small event wich is already over and this should be merged on the main crisis page. Shadow4dark (talk) 10:17, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It seems like many Iraq-related articles are little more than stubs and in serious need of attention. I think this is probably because WikiProject Iraq is only semi-active. Charles Essie (talk) 21:30, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. The political crisis and the Baghdad protests are discrete subjects warranting their own articles, with each meeting WP:GNG and WP:SUSTAINED as evidenced by continuing coverage in reliable sources such as The New York Times. ––FormalDude(talk) 10:24, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I agree with the other commenters on here that these topics are distinct, and should be separate from each other.Historyday01 (talk) 18:16, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
