126th?[edit]

isn't it the 125th? it'd be 126th if 2020 hadn't been cancelled. 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:CD73:B45E:F6F7:C35A (talk) 01:40, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A virtual event was held in 2020 as the 124th, so it appears correct that this is the 126th. Simeon (talk) 01:32, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

oh yeah, i guess there was. so why does the 2020 page not even EXIST?
it redirects to the general "boston marathon" article, which actually says 2020 was "cancelled". 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:CD73:B45E:F6F7:C35A (talk) 01:40, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
An actual marathon didn't happen in 2020. Some random people running virtually isn't an event that meets Wikipedia's notability standards. Joseph2302 (talk) 07:37, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And the 2020 event was cancelled, so that is correct. It was cancelled and a virtual thing run instead (which isn't the same as the cancelled race). Joseph2302 (talk) 07:38, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
