Teams[edit]

Various sources stated that 11 teams were confirmed, but Germany's squad announcement says they will be playing 7 opponents. It sounds like Zimbabwe, Ghana and Sierra Leone may have withdrawn, so I have adjusted the introduction to say that eleven teams were originally announced. If the reduced numbers are confirmed, change the squads section to two rows of fours teams. Bs1jac (talk) 16:00, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rukayat[edit]

@Bs1jac: Noticed that you've been spelling Rukayat's name as "Abdulrasaq", while ESPNcricinfo uses "Abdulrasak". Is that a change we're having in Wikipedia for the name, or did the other spelling just escape you somehow? Mashfi23 (talk) 14:10, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mashfi23 They must have changed it... pls go ahead and change to match CI Bs1jac (talk) 14:15, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

potm[edit]

@Mashfi23: Worth noting that none of the potm awards in Cricheroes are accurate. They are based purely on their mvp calculations, not actual match impact. Cricinfo copy what they say unfortunately. e.g. Germany have posted that Gough was potm in their last round robin game, and Hornero-Garcia was in the 7th place game, both different to cricheroes/ci Bs1jac (talk) 11:15, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Bs1jac: After knowing about the Gough incident, I'm now trying to follow the actual post-match presentations from the live streams rather than the CricHeroes info; the 3rd place match one (Concy Aweko) is correct according to that. (Good to see Germany finally managing to win a match though!) Mashfi23 (talk) 11:40, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Dusabemungu[edit]

@Bs1jac ESPNcricinfo messed up this guy's profile again after fixing it once before during this very tournament. When will they learn? Please help if you can. Thanks. Mashfi23 (talk) 19:13, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
