Points cannot be negative[edit]

Per Spprting Life: Teams will score one point for each frame., Eurosport: A point is won for every frame won. and Sporting News: A team will be awarded one point for each frame they win and this will determine the league table.. I can't find a website that suggests that points are lost for frames lost, so negative points cannot happen. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 17:58, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The negative numbers are in the "Frame Difference" column. Is there any reason to include "points" when all they do is mirror frames won? Seems like duplicate information. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 18:02, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Heading a column as "FD" was not at all clear. I worked out MP through FL inclusive, also PTS which was the last column when I made this edit. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 00:25, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Individual Match Results?[edit]

Why aren't we including individual match results for the group matches, like in the Championship League? 2A02:8085:7160:3B80:5E6:BC82:E47:FB98 (talk) 06:51, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

They've all been 3-1 for the four matches played so far, but the match outcome doesn't count towards placings, only the total number of frames won across the whole round-robin stage. So in the group matches today, if O'Sullivan/Evans beat Selby/Kenna 4-0 and Trump/On-yee beat Robertson/Nutcharut (by any margin), and nobody scores a break of 134 or higher, Selby/Kenna cannot go through despite having won the same number of matches as the others and also the highest break of the tournament. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 11:34, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
