What is this table actually used for? I think there is a misunderstanding here.[edit]

When you go to the link provided it talks about how LIGA MX TEAMS, not Expansion teams, have to pay Liga Expansion teams. The wikipedia article says that the bottom three Expansion teams are exempt from have to pay, when I think what was meant was that the bottom 3 Liga MX teams do not have to pay. Also there is no citation for the bottom Expansion team being excluded from the Liguilla. This is all super confusing and I think needs to be cleaned up. I just read the rulebook (found here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/lmxwebsite/docs/Reglamentos/Competencia/12_LIGA_EXPANSION_MX/15_LIGA_EXPANSION_MX_1_20240103212627.pdf). The bottom 3 teams from the Coefficient table do have to pay: 1.5 million for last place, 1 million for second to last, and 500 thousand for third to last, unless it is an affiliate team (Tapatio) or an invited Liga Premier team (Tlaxcala).
The bottom team from the Coefficient table cannot play Final phase of Clausura 2024 even if they are in the top 10, that is also written in the rulebook. DARKING (talk) 03:43, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
