Manchester United Club Coefficent[edit]

Man UTD have never been in Europe before so do not have any points contributing towards a club coefficient. Anything else without a source is pure OR and speculation 2A00:23C6:4D00:3D01:8D56:5B87:2E76:C933 (talk) 12:55, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it (set it to 0) as they do not appear with any coefficient in the UEFA website. Kante4 (talk) 13:00, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This was my working exactly 2A00:23C6:4D00:3D01:8D56:5B87:2E76:C933 (talk) 13:20, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Now i read that Pindrice (talk · contribs) explained where the number comes from. I missed this edit and never knew of this "rule". So, it should be put back in? Kante4 (talk) 13:27, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The so-called 'rule' needs to be sourced and the wording of what has been claimed is pure speculation. No source = No bueno. If the number has no source it could for all anyone knows be made up off the top of a user's head while sounding truth, in the same way ChatGPT sounds truthy. 2A00:23C6:4D00:3D01:54E7:67BD:970E:C595 (talk) 16:09, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is beginning to be really annoying : stop reverting, Manchester has not 0 points ! Each year it is the same thing :for men or for women teams ! When a club is qualifying for the first time or for the first time since for than 4-5 years, UEFA take the UEFA coefficent from the country, this is the case here. I have already explained it in one of another of your IP adress. No clubs can have 0 coefficient point ! Even San Marino clubs for the men teams have 0.XXX. So stop reverting or you will be preventing from making other editting ! Pindrice (talk) 16:58, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The club don't appear yet on UEFA website IT'S BECAUSE THE SEASON 2022-2023 IS NOT ALREADY FINISHED !!! Pindrice (talk) 17:00, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Take example of Lens in the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League. The last time they participated in a European championship was in 2009, so technically they have no points. But check 2023–24 UEFA Champions League#Group Stage the editors have already points the coefficeint from France that is to say : 12.232 ! Pindrice (talk) 17:03, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously there is absolutely nothing new here, it the same things since years and years : Each year it is the same thing :for men or for women teams ! When a club is qualifying for the first time or for the first time since for than 4-5 years, UEFA take the UEFA coefficent from the country ! I don't know what you are doing/playing here both of you and it looks like vandalism ! Pindrice (talk) 17:04, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Another example : A.S. Roma (women) in the 2022–23 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying rounds. Roma (Women) has never player a single european tournament before 2022-2023, so technically them too should have been awarded 0 points : but heck on the following page 2022–23 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying rounds : Roma has 5.900 points which, at the time, corresponded to the points UEFA Coeffifient points of Italy ! SO stop your reverting wars. Pindrice (talk) 17:12, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not only for newly qualified clubs. Every club gets 20% of their association points on top. Which is 12.366 for (all) English clubs. This is specifially made, so that clubs from stong associations aren't ranked too low for their strength. -Koppapa (talk) 17:12, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly ! Pindrice (talk) 17:13, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My bad and apologies to Pindrice (talk · contribs). Should have asked before. Kante4 (talk) 18:01, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much Kante4 ! This is totally fine. On the other hand, I think the unknown user (with multiple IPs) will revert my edits (because in the same time he/she/they issued a discussion about/against me and my so-calles "attacks" against him/her/them on the administrator page. I have tried to protect the page and will be certainly denied too. Can someone protect the page if he/she/they revert again ? Pindrice (talk) 18:06, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe adding a hidden note next to the team, sending the editor(s) to this talk page. Kante4 (talk) 18:26, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a source for that? 2A02:C7E:3910:3500:396B:578C:7482:9974 (talk) 22:13, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is the access list of last year : https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/0276-15715f4ef5f8-00d2c88a213f-1000/2022-23_uwcl_clubs_per_round_per_coeff_20220621204538.pdf.
It can be read that to calculate each club coefficient = Club Coefficient + 20% Association Coefficient ! Pindrice (talk) 03:39, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, also this years numbers here. -Koppapa (talk) 04:35, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of Which Manchester United are not listed 92.40.196.68 (talk) 12:00, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see no source is forthcoming on this wild speculation 92.40.196.205 (talk) 12:02, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see that Pindrice and -Koppapa gave you sources. These sources + the usual way to calculate coefficient by UEFA are considered good enough, there is no speculation here. Maybe you should stop with your disruptive edits. 2A01:CB14:11BC:CF00:7416:86CB:C189:9E19 (talk) 23:52, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for you assertion and glowing support for the current no source which is reliable or verifiable position logged-out Pindrice. A source from last year and assertions are not sources which can be used. Where is the actual reliable verifiable source backing up the claims being made or showing the 2023/24 CC's including Man Utd then its more of you logged in or out just making assertions. The source provided by Koppapa does not contain Man Utc. The wording you have givven when logged in is not backed up in any source it is just you saying it. Saying what you have said logged out doesn't mean there is more support for you ignoring the basic rules of Wikipedia Pindrice 2A00:23C6:4D00:3D01:59DA:3CAC:41A0:475B (talk) 13:00, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Should we remove all the champions as well, or at least Manchester United? We can't know for sure if they'll enter a team and are accepted? Things will finalize in a few weeks before the draw anyway. -Koppapa (talk) 05:29, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Manchester United (ENG) 12.366
From the start you should have keep quiet. Now I expect an apology... Pindrice (talk) 06:52, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Message for the IP adresses from England, not for -Koppapa. Pindrice (talk) 06:53, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Austrian (ÖFB) Frauen Bundesliga 2nd Place[edit]

This 2023-24 UWCL page wrongly states that Sturm Graz finished second. This is wrong because I watched [ÖFB TV] them lose 4-1 to First Vienna yesterday and today I've just watched [ÖFB TV] Altach/Vorderland beat Austria Vienna 2-1 to snatch second place on +1 goal difference. Both matches were on Matchday 18/18 of the season, the final weekend. The page correctly states that St. Polten are champions. 2A02:C7C:D46C:C200:A0BE:2374:4083:264 (talk) 11:13, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tied points are ranked by Head to head in Austria, not goal difference. Graz secures second place. -Koppapa (talk) 11:42, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification which the table on the ÖFB Frauen Bundesliga website confirms, but does not have an explanation for the tiebreakers. Somewhat confusing because the Altach/Vorderland players and staff were celebrating at the end of the match like they'd got second place! 2A02:C7C:D46C:C200:D97C:35BE:6769:ADAA (talk) 16:43, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
