Countries would have participated in United Cup[edit]

Several countries could have participated in United Cup such as Serbia such as Novak Djokovic (ATP # 8) and Aleksandra Krunić (WTA # 101) would have set to compete but due to fears of Djokovic and his vaccination controversy. The next players would be Miomir Kecmanović (ATP # 31) and Olga Danilović (WTA # 150) in the lineup. ApprenticeWiki contribs 00:21, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Colors not guideline worthy[edit]

The colors used to tell readers who is eliminated and who has qualifies can't be the only way to give data to our readers. Those who are colorblind can't see it so we need to use only symbols, symbols and color, or perhaps best, bold for qualified and italics for eliminated. I did so for the "overview" but it needs to be done throughout. Fyunck(click) (talk) 07:24, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bold and italics are not appropriate either because these font variaties are not communicated to people who use assistive technologies. Tvx1 16:59, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know that bold was not conveyed in any way. Strange that it's not. Fyunck(click) (talk) 22:14, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Very strange order unlike any other tennis event[edit]

In all yearly tennis events we describe the most important aspect first. Who own the yearly event, the edition and what it is. WE do that with [[1]], US Open, etc. There were multiple complaints about this by readers throughout the years here. No sport mentioned, no winners at the top, finals brackets buried. Sure in the main article at United Cup where it's not a yearly article it would be different, but this is for our readers. You come to the page and first and foremost you want to know the winner of the 2023 edition, and in the body you want to see the final bracket, just like all other tennis articles here. The only reason anything else would go up top is that this is the very first edition, but then its opening lead would be different than all other editions. Would you mind copying this to the project talk page? Would probably get more eyes on it so that other editors can chime in.--Wolbo (talk) 13:44, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing but these days no one seems to reply on our project. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:03, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I haven't been very active there myself for quite some time but have followed the discussions every now and then.--Wolbo (talk) 21:42, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
