one of the airmen who served with this Squadron[edit]

Gideon Du Piesanie who was killed in an aircrash, as far as we can determine in Italy 1943 at Bari Airfield. He was in the SAAF 21st Sqdn, I they were based @ Foggia. I have inserted his rank and force number as per the Commenwealth War Graves Commission Details.
