quincentennials

This seems a bit pointless to me - while they are important events right now, how important will they seem in 500 years time? For that matter, did nothing happen in the 16th century that could be put in a millenial anniversary section?

Also... it says three important quincentennials - then lists two.

The Xbox 360's release does not seem to be an important enough event to be notable in 500 years.

Agreed. Even the dates for the events listed were wrong. Deleted and replaced with a provisional list of millenials. Petrouchka 03:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
I'm even doubting the wisdom of millenials. I'm new to the whole year articles thing, but if a user wanted to know about events taking place in the 16th century wouldn't they go there instead? —INTRIGUEBLUE (talk|contribs) 09:13, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Disambiguation

I came to this article after searching for "2501" meaning to find Project 2501, which is Google's first search result for that term, so obviously I'm not the first to have had that intent. I don't know how to do it myself, but I think a disambiguation page should be created to redirect to this or Project 2501, so might someone please do that. Mnealon (talk) 16:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
