Having visited the house, my understanding is that the opposition was to the radical design of the houses themselves, rather than to the demolition of the previous properties, which were dilapidated and not architecturally or historially distinguished.86.1.196.156 (talk) 22:04, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
