Criticism[edit]

Not sure if it's appropriate, but there seems to be enough criticism of the show that would warrent a small blurb. Most of the criticism that I've seen revolves around the fact that it's really hard to try to cook one of these receipes in 30 minutes, without having spent time prepping before hand. Rachel Ray says on the show that she preps her vegetables by washing them as soon as she gets home from the grocery store so it saves her time. She also gets pre-made items like chicken stock, salad in a bag, etc.. It's not like she doesn't make it known she takes these shortcuts. Mr. C.C. 21:58, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tips from Rachael Ray---Necessary?[edit]

The tips from Rachael Ray section seems a little bit unnecessary. It seems like promo material at best. Thoughts? --IRelayer 08:48, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Reads more like a magazine article than a Wiki entry. Support removal. The catchphrases section also needs to be integrated into the main body of the article. Air.dance 09:39, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree, it definetly reads like a magazine fluff piece. I was also involved in limiting the (many) excesses of the "criticism" section on her main page, so I'm not biased against her. And man, it's weird to think of people being biased for or against a tv chef... Lucky Adrastus 00:52, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the section. If anyone feels the need to rework it in some way, please provide the justification here. Thanks for your input! --IRelayer 07:12, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Order of Cookbooks[edit]

The article indicates that Comfort Foods was the first 30 Minute Meals cookbook. However, I believe the original 30 Minute Meals cookbook predated Comfort Foods by a little over a year. - 71.244.17.49 17:57, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:30MMlogo.jpg[edit]

Image:30MMlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Time limit of the show[edit]

I think I recall that this show was 24 minutes without commercials and at one point in this article's history this article had 24 minutes as the time length of the show. Did someone edit this article to make Rachael Ray's claim of a "30 minute meal" valid? THE evil fluffyface (talk) 13:59, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
