Comments[edit]

WiskeyPete: I hope you would agree that every "bad apple" should not be the focus of the barrel. The article reflects an anti-police bias. If you wish to create another section in the article and discuss contriversies or "black-eyes"...go ahead. But it needs to be in a format that informs...NOT tarnishes. Any officer that ruins their OWN name should be vilified. The person that protects the peace....and places their own lives above all others should not.

Point taken. Intent is not to smear, or villify, but to understand. AFAIK the basic history of what happened in the 39th is well established, and the only officers named (thus far) are those who have received convictions. Again, and additional background information you have would be appreciated. --User:Whiskey Pete.

Encyclopedic[edit]

Subject is relevant to North Philadelphia / PPD history, and for ties to significant historical events, such as the trial of Mumia Abu-Jamal, and figures such as DA Lynne Abraham, etc.

I really think all the little stubs about the individuals involved need to be merged into this. Right now, several WP:BLP violations exist. Bearian (talk) 13:00, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
