Merge with 3D weaving[edit]

There is overlap between this article and the new 3D weaving article. It appears that composites are not the only application for 3D weaving. ~KvnG 04:33, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done Merged. Appeared noncontroversial. Ajpolino (talk) 03:00, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Applications of textile composites needs more explanation[edit]

Merely bullet points that say "Engine Rotors", etc make it ambiguous. A more detailed discussion is required Yetanotherwriter (talk) 05:38, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So… Wikipedia thinks that 3D knitting and 3D weaving can only be used for composites? Never for plain old textiles, that may even just be made of one material? (100% cotton, e.g.)[edit]

The subject line says it all.--213.113.123.236 (talk) 22:15, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
