Hotel 3/12[edit]

The batteries in Oki, may be deployed now, but in 75' they were permanent. I spent 16 month's in hotel 3/12 from 75 to 76 at Camp Hauge and later at Sukeran by Kadena AFB My deployment lasted more then 6 months at that time. You had multiple batteries there, 105MM which was our unit along with others, 155MM and Mike battery which was 8 Inch. I can't recall if there were any 175MM batteries, but I don't believe so — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2E63:5B70:940B:DCD3:B50B:D1B9 (talk) 17:53, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the battalion's firing batteries are now on rotational deployments under the Unit Deployment Program (UDP) and are equipped with the M777A2 155mm lightweight howitzer. The M107 (175mm gun) and M110 (8-in. howitzer) were retired years ago. Semper Fi! Devil Dog. CobraDragoon (talk) 19:37, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
