Yukon Freedom Party[edit]

The Yukon Freedom Party was recently removed/commented out from the infobox by Kawnhr. I think that is probably the right decision for now. Although I also note at this stage there are only four parties registered with Elections Yukon.[1] If that remains the case, and the Freedom Party receives significant coverage in WP:RS it would be prudent to revisit this. That said, at the moment I can't even find any reporting that the party has said they will run candidates in this election. Until they do it is premature to include them the infobox. Yeah, that's why I removed them: they're a newly-registered party that does not have any sort of media profile or even really any media acknowledgement at this time. It's not clear if they're poised to become a small-but-popularly-known party (akin to, say, the Greens), or just another fringe outfit that amounts to little (akin to… most registered parties). Essentially, I think we should err on the side of caution for now. But the code is still there if the situation changes. — Kawnhr (talk) 23:21, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
