Reorganized and redesignated[edit]

Am wondering about the numerous "Reorganized and redesignated ... as Headquarters and Headquarters Company..." designations in this wiki article; each battalion has individual companies (i.e. A, B, C, etc.) as well as its HHC. Also, the 5th POB was a redesignation of PACOM POB, which had formerly been B Co., 8th POB. PACOM POB was designated so around 1997. And, 9th POB is not just support for EUCOM; it also supports the other theater commands. It also has been and is the tactical support battalion for 4POG Evets70 (talk) 16:27, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

4th POG is no longer named 4th POG[edit]

As of around June of last year, 4th POG is now known as the 4th Military Information Support Group. To my knowledge 2nd and 7th POGs are still POGs, but I believe they'll be swapping names as well (as evidenced by the article entitled something like "Last Change of Command for a Psychological Operations Group" on the CAPOC website)
