The District numbering for Pennsylvania obviously makes no sense, even allowing for the 4th District electing two members. I have checked a number of entries in this series from 1789 to 1795 so far and have found a number of errors. I suggest someone start again using the Congressional Biographical Directory. NY Delegation[edit]

The listing for the New York delegation to the House of Representatives lists the party division as "5-4 Democratic-Republican". But underneath, there are ten representatives listed (six of them Democratic-Republican), not nine, and other sources I've checked indicate the apportionment for NY was ten. Was this a mistake, or are there special circumstances?AnneTG (talk) 20:40, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
