Factual inaccuracy?[edit]
The passage "1815's Battle of Waterloo was planned in the garden." cannot be correct, as the Battle of Waterloo itself was not a planned enterprise by the allied powers of the time, but an attempted surprise attack by Napoleon. Although an overall strategy for the coming war may very well have been discussed at the location, it is not logically possible to word it as to the effect of 'the planning of Waterloo'.
The source given for the statement is an article from The Wall Street Journal, which is not an academic source. In addition the article is restricted for subscribers, which makes the source useless for the general public.
I therefore suggest that the abovementioned statement be removed. Marbjol (talk) 21:59, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
