Old comment[edit]

There's a huge amount of speculation in this article, which I need to remove now.Whophd (talk) 05:21, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Technical Issues[edit]

Nine have so far forgotten to tell people they will probably need to rescan for the new channel. :-)

I say that because I've had to rescan their carrier on two quite different DTV devices, one because it couldn't hold a lock on the MPEG stream, the other because it could no longer find the EPG data. This is unlike TEN, SBS and ABC, who were not only able to add and/or rename existing sub-channels without requiring that, but also because Nine hasn't been wild with it's advertising telling people about the new channel and suggesting a rescan if there were problems (ABC did that when they moved ABC2 to LCN 22).

It seems Nine are taking some liberties with reformatting the DVB-T stream prior to the official launch of their new channel. Bad move, Nine. StaticSan (talk) 03:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this relevant to the article? – Allied45 (talk) 01:48, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes, just not as I posted, which is why it's here on the Talk page. But I did find a link about it on a newspaper site and added an appropriate comment to the Launch section. StaticSan (talk) 03:13, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that's fine. :) – Allied45 (talk) 04:46, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It seems someone using the IP 203.48.107.240 (intfw.nine.com.au) is interested in this too (they're in the edit logs altering the section on launch issues)...AprilHare (talk) 09:13, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear. :-) Maybe someone is finding it too embarrassing. StaticSan (talk) 03:29, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing shows[edit]

Midday shows like Josie and the Pussycats, Scooby-doo, Where are You! and Marine Boy are not displayed on the Current shows list. Should these be added to the list? Should we add shows like Thunderbirds and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends which air throughout Kids' WB to this list? Is it appropriate to add all the shows that occur in Kids' WB onto the list, or is this classified under Kids' WB? 58.165.27.239 (talk) 02:04, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Coming soon?[edit]

Where is/are the reference(s)? I've heard no announcement of the listed shows airing on Go! anytime soon. And if they are due to be broadcast on Go!, then what date. I'd prefer if there was an additional paragraph added specifying how long "Coming soon" is. --58.108.11.201 (talk) 10:31, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Page move to proper name[edit]

As the proper stylising of the channel name is GO!, the article should be moved from "Go! (Australian TV channel)" to GO! (Australian TV channel). Nick Mitchell 98 (talk) 09:07, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page issues[edit]

A couple of page issues;

  • For children's programming, please leave the shows listed as current until one year has passed since final broadcast. For example, Heidi was last aired on 21 December 2019, so it should not be listed as former until 21 December 2020. This is because it has only been three months, and it could possibly return.
  • Upcoming programming - shows such as The Loud House have not been confirmed. Please do not add, because this is false information.

Thanks, SatDis (talk) 04:34, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading Information on “Upcoming Programming”[edit]

On the “Upcoming Programming” section of the “Programming” article, it states that Power Rangers Dino Fury and Abby Hatcher will soon start airing on 9Go! The program I’ll focus on is Abby Hatcher. The reason why I think it’s misleading is because I’ve never seen and confirmation or announcements of Abby Hatcher coming to 9Go! If anyone has confirmation that states that Abby Hatcher IS coming to 9Go! then put it in the comments section. Welovecatsandcheetahs (talk) 00:15, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Done removed - precisely the reason why we ask for each entry to be sourced. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. –Davey2010Talk 00:21, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also can someone please give me a little bit more clear information about Poko moving to 9Go please because I am really skeptical about that Kirbopher2004 (talk) 01:22, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
