Suggestion of article name change[edit]

I would like to suggest we change the articles name from '9 (film)' to '9 (Short film)' to help differenciate it from the feature film version whose article is stated as '9 (2009 film)', anyone else feels this is a good idea? - RVDDP2501 (talk) 14:59, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is a good idea, it is somewhat misleading. Does anyone see the resemblance of LittleBigPlanet or Tool(band) music videos to the character design of 9? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brixtonq (talkcontribs) 17:23, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the page, per above suggestion. Delta (Talk) 16:24, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Background sound[edit]

In the background of the video you should be able to hear two people having sex... Should this be mentioned? Lailatalqadr (talk) 17:04, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to the article[edit]

Hi everyone! I made the following changes to the article:

  • Lead: trimmed the bit that said "Tim Burton saw the film and was so impressed that he..." - This seems biased and lacks a source. I also added the release date.
  • I considerably trimmed the Plot section- It was very lengthy and overly detailed.
  • Added a "Themes and Motifs" section- The director, Shane Acker, has talked at length about the themes of the short film, so it seemed prudent to add a dedicated section- I also added a peer reviewed source as well as an interview source.
  • The information in the Production section was improperly sourced (2 links did not work anymore, the other 2 were blog posts)- I used only information I could find credible sources for
  • I replaced the source in the Feature Film section- it led to a blog post, which I swapped for the IMBD page for the film

All changes were carried over from the page User: presleyjackson/9 (2005 film)
