Have I got news for you[edit]

As part of my project, which is writing biographies of notable World War I flying aces, I also sometimes establish corollary articles for linkage. I have just completed 9me Escadrille de Chasse, and found your article in progress. Why not add it/merge it onto my pre-existing stub?

Late reply[edit]

Sorry for the late answer, I abandoned the writing of this page during some time. Since I'm fairly new to writing articles, I'm a bit shy about expanding or correcting stubs. Some of the Commanders, Aircraft and aerodromes you mention date from before the time the unit was the "'9ieme Escadrille de Chasse'". Moreover, I wanted to write a history of 9 Squadron up to present day, and not only during WWI. What I did do, is provide reciprocating WikiLinks.

Further merge[edit]

I integrated both paragraphs about the first days of the squadron. I hope they make sense.
I added the Nieuport 17 as a type used during WWI, I will update the references soon.

Clean up suggestions[edit]

Some cleanup suggestions as per Fox260 request - The layout is a little cluttered and the images seems like all over the page. Perhaps you can rearrange them into a gallery section? You can refer to Red Arrow for ideas. ♠♠ BanëJ ♠ ♠ 03:17, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Since a lot of the images did not get past the Copyright control despite express autorisation of the owner, I hope you like the layout better now.Fox260 18:58, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Don't get me wrong, a picture speaks a thousand words but too many and the reader get distracted. I believe the reader can now better appreciate the article. :) ♠♠ BanëJ ♠ ♠ 02:58, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
