GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    • Biography needs {{Persondata}}
    • The lead should adequately summarize the content of the article. (Lead contains nothing about Future: 2020 and all)
    • Wikilinks should only be made if they are relevant to the context. Common words do not need wikilinking.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Criticism

I deleted a section titled "Personal Attacks" from the article about Kalam over-claiming credit for the missile program, since the section's content were not at all supported by the sources it cited. However, there well may be other reliable and relevant sources on the topic. If so, feel free to re-add this point of criticism to the article, although it may be best to run it by the talk page first . Abecedare (talk) 17:41, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Could someone add a section on his personal life and religious views? 42.107.175.154 (talk) 19:42, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

This content can be included in the section. Please improve if someone felt inclined.

Although born into a devout Muslim family, Kalam was also influenced by Hindu philosophy and Bhagavad Gita. He lead a humble life and preferred vegetarian food. Many of his friends have testified to the fact that he never offered prayers during namaz nor fast during Ramzan.[1]

Thanks for the suggestion, but Rafiq Zakaria's opinion of whether Kalam does or doesn't count as a Muslim is not worth noting in Kalam's biography. If you can find a source in which Kalam self-declares his religious affiliations, or scholarly analysis of his religious beliefs, we could consider citing those.
