I think that whether A.S. Embree really was a former minister is subject to verification. Gibbs Smith is the source for this information. There was, during the period prior to A.S. Embree's fame as a union organizer, another man by the name of A.S. Embree in Topeka, Kansas, who was a minister. Were they the same person? Were they possibly father and son? Could Gibbs Smith have made a mistake due to identical names? Or was this just a coincidence? Not sure; more research may shed some light. Richard Myers (talk) 03:22, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
