Deletion[edit]

Well, I added further informations. Sorry if my English doesn't sound correct, I'm not used to write in that language, but at least the facts are here. AIDES is the main AIDS-NGO in France, I think it "deserves" its article on Wikipedia. The french article has never been contested. - Éclusette 05:26, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AIDES is indeed a notable program. Our French class's correspondants in France referred to the AIDES program and included various advertisements featuring high-profile French celebrities. In addition (I think) a strong article in another language justifies notability in the English language wikipedia.

Does AIDES stand for anything? As in A.I.D.E.S.? or is it just a reference to aiding people with aids?Loki at6 06:55, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, it's only readable as the french word "aides" (plural form), but it also refer to the english acronym AIDS. Éclusette (talk) 13:23, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
