I found this article to have about 1/4 real information and 3/4 marketing material, so I cut out the marketing material. However, I feel that something serious should be said about some of the products of this company, which have played important roles both in recording studio technology (particularly the dynamic and condenser microphones of the 1950s through 1970s) and consumer audio. Most of the material that I cut out was about consumer headphones; I felt that it gave excessive detail on just one audiophile-oriented model while ignoring the headphones for which AKG is best known (e.g. the K 240). As soon as time permits, I will sketch in some information about the studio condenser microphones, which I know more about. DSatz 14:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added some information on headphones. The section is still in construction. And please anyone who knows about the microphones of AKG write some information for these good microphones. Wnmnkh 02:56, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've re-written the the section on headphones. -Darren 19.13, 29 September 2006

I've removed the clean-up tag from the headphones section, and re-worded it slightly to present a neutral point of view. Wikiwisher 04:53, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made some small changes to lessen the opinionated portions about the quality of the AKG mics in the second paragraph. Also created headers for the C414 and Modular mics, both sections I think should have more expansive sections, with possibly a seperate article for the C414. The C12 can also use more expansion on it's history and use. Therminator 03:09, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added a timeline/history section. Moved all the new wireless info someone put up at the beginning to a wireless microphone section. Deleted a paragraph that was just a plug about how great the company is. Hopefully this thing is expanding and becoming a bit more neutral :)Therminator 03:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrote most of the article, added references and footnotes. Goldenglove 07:50, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
