that ship is gigantic...

Not as big as others.--Hourick (talk) 06:30, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Project headers[edit]

Seems like a lot of project headers. Probably only Ships needs to be kept, and maybe technology or Engineering. Can others justify the need for the others? Astronaut (talk) 12:32, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed it does seem like quite a few, but I did look up some other articles that fall into these categories. The only one that I feel is questionable is "maritime", but seems like most ships fall into this as well. Oil Skimmers was listed as an engineering stub, so I felt this was applicable. Since also this is a ship dealing with oil spills/disasters, the energy project might be within the scope as well. --Hourick (talk) 14:47, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So-called[edit]

I removed the wording "so-called" from the article per WP:ALLEGED and Emerson7 brought the wording back with the explanation: "so-called is in this case appropriate". That really doesn't explain anything. In addition, WP:ALLEGED does not list a situation in which so-called is a preferable wording. Instead, WP:ALLEGED describes how to convert "so-called" into a preferable wording given the definition: commonly named, falsely named, or contentiously named. If you don't like the wording I came up with, let's work toward a different wording that is preferable per WP:ALLEGED. -- JTSchreiber (talk) 03:03, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TMT Co Ltd[edit]

In 1990 Taiwan Maritime Transportation Co Ltd changed its name to TMT Co Ltd. However, due to its familiarity over decades the company is still referred to informally by its original name. The company's minimalist website http://www.tmtship.com/ gives no information, but has reinvented TMT as "Today Makes Tomorrow".Davidships (talk) 18:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
