More ratifications than signatures?[edit]

"...signed by 40 (primarily European and Central Asian) countries and the European Community and ratified by 41 countries." How is that possible? Does the figure for ratifications include the EC? And if so - how can the EC ratify an agreements without signign it? Can somebody please explain...? Thank you! --84.159.52.235 (talk) 09:43, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge from Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee[edit]

Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee is currently a stub article and gives less detail than the section in this article on the same subject.
