Why this section removed?[edit]

Homer describes them as "breathing fury" and leaving their hair long. They controlled Euboea, including the cities of Chalcis, Eretria, Histiaea, Cerinthus, Carystus, and Styra. Under their leader Elephenor, supposedly a descendent of Ares, the Abantes sent spearmen to fight in the Trojan War.

I think that it's almost perfect and is needed to this article.
