Bizarre article[edit]

This is a bizarre article that mashes together a dynasty in Spain, Bedouin in Jordan, people with a given surname and something about Queen Elizabeth without any sources to actually support the connections. The whole thing is a mess of WP:OR and WP:SYNTH. What is "The Abaddi dynasty held a formidable grip on Jordan" supposed to mean in context? Srnec (talk) 00:29, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Srnec: Agreed. There is zero relation between the Abbadid dynasty of medieval Spain and the Abbadi confederation whose founding in the Balqa of Jordan both modern historians and leaders of the Abbad themselves trace back to around 250 years ago. Many or most of the constituents of this loose confederation have older roots in the Balqa but there is no known connection to the ancient and medieval Lakhm or Judham, other than perhaps pure speculation because these tribes had historically inhabited the regions of modern Jordan. No comment on Queen Elizabeth... This article is based on original research and poor sources and ought to be blanked and rewritten from scratch with some actual reliable sources.
