He was not the lord of a river in Nepal. Rather, he was the lord of a province that has been subdevided many times and now exists as Toyama Prefecture. I'll work on creating a disambiguation page for the phrase Koshi. Ixtli 21:32, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
