Problems with editors? use this place instead of their userpage[edit]

starting a dialogue relating to pages should only really stay in their relevant page's talk, by going to their personal pages does nothing but antagonise editors who wish to help add to wiki pages, so please stick to this talk if you have any queries or issues relating tothe 'Abersoch' page, diolch Hogyncymru (talk) 22:45, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

I think this page needs rewriting, for it seems to be an advertisement page for Abersoch; advertising is not allowed on Wikipedia.

"English Immigration"[edit]

Oh dear, it looks like the Plaid Cymru nationalists have had a bash at this page. Please could someone with a couple of brain cells re-write this article …  —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.195.191.50 (talk) 20:03, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Any POV should remain as so, this is not an area to discuss theories. Hogyncymru (talk) 22:49, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I know that feelings run high and that the closure of the school was a big blow to the community, but...... the standards of Wikipedia don't change because of that. I have removed the obvious POV and unsourced contentious statements. You might want to consider removing the image of a roundabout unless there is a good source that unequivocally links the passage of chalets to Abersoch with the removal of the roundabout. - I didn't know that having businesses without bilingual signage in their establishment was POV rather than fact? Hogyncymru (talk) 22:40, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Neither the original "The Guardian" article, nor the opinion piece in the "Daily Post" about that article, mentioned anything about mono-lingual signs, so, yes, it is POV.  Velella  Velella Talk   23:01, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So if 1000 people walked into a shop and saw exactly the same, would it be classed as 'POV'? Hogyncymru (talk) 23:04, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia remains based on what reliable and independent sources say.  Velella  Velella Talk   23:05, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
my question was hypothetical, for the sake of documenting on wiki, of course you need evidence to back it up, however, I know you'll reply, but I shan't carry on the dialogue, nos da. Hogyncymru (talk) 23:08, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
