Citation questions[edit]

What information seems to be unreferenced? The one sentence section called 'personal information' comes from working with and interviewing Dr. Saxena over several years, from hearing her lecture, and from having dinner with their family. However, it's all found on the Internet in various WHO, AIIMS, and other public websites. Nothing proprietary and private is there: her schooling, her work with AIIMS, etc. It may be trivial to question the authenticity of what is readily available in a Google search yielding UN-related sites. @MaynardClark: Hello! The only reference in the article is to this article. It's placed after a statement that Shekhar Saxena is her husband (although that is not stated in the reference). All other information in the article seems to be unreferenced. You've been here a long time, so you know people are touchy about referencing in bios, and that more references make an article far more verifiable. Your easily-Googleable references of today may not be so easy to find ten years from now, so stating where you got that information could be a great help, even if it seems obvious. If you can't or don't want to take the time to look back for references, I'm happy to pull up the easy ones and ask you for help with material that is more challenging to verify. I'll have a bit of time to look in a few days. Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 22:21, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Ajpolino: Thank you. I'll work on that later this evening, but not immediately. MaynardClark (talk) 22:55, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
