Vowel problem[edit]

When names are transliterated from Arabic script there is often ambiguity with regard to vowels. Some of the people listed in this article are mentioned in sources with both the "Talib" and "Taleb" spellings, so it seemed to be more useful to put the two lists together. Just for example Wikipedia uses the more common Abu Talib al-Makki in its article, but "Imam Hasan (AS) – The Myth of his Divorces". uses the form "Abu Taleb Makki" as did "Revival of Religous Learnings Imam Ghazzali's".. --Bejnar (talk) 22:06, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
