So ... its a short, mostly-opinion page summarizing exactly one sociology article published eleven years ago. It has been cited 21 times since then http://academic.research.microsoft.com/Publication/44575724/academic-dependency-and-the-global-division-of-labour-in-the-social-sciences

There are many, many single sociology papers of more significance than this. There are a ton of science papers more significant than this. How does one nominate this for deletion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crispincowan (talkcontribs) 02:40, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that the article currently has shortcomings does not equals that the topic it covers is irrelavant. I see no valid argument for irrelevancy. There are plenty of sources and google academic searches gives shows a wide usage of the term. Sietecolores (talk) 02:51, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that the paper was published 11 years ago and has only 21 citations [1]in that time is an affirmative proof that it **is** irrelevant and trivial. If it was of any significance, it would have been cited more often than that. Crispincowan (talk) 07:56, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
