I beg to differ. This article describes Italy's National Academy of Sciences. Please see the article national academy for a discussion of this type of organization, and pointers to articles about various other country's national academies. If a national academy is not of significance, perhaps all such articles should be deleted from Wikipedia (eg the Royal Society, National Academy of Science, etc.). If the tagger believes that Italy's national academy is less important than those of other countries, I believe he/she should make this case explicitly. Daderot (talk) 12:28, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

I've removed a large addition of text translated without attribution from Italian Wikipedia, as it contained substantial copyright violations of this Italian-language page (see this tool).
