Pre-GA Comments:[edit]
- After a quick read-through of the article, I must admit that I am very impressed with the details mentioned in this article! I have very little to say in regards of correcting this article for the GA nomination process! Carbrera (talk) 21:32, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Infobox[edit]
- You can add an alt description for the picture of Acquacotta in the infobox
- I believe it's already there, where it's written as "caption = Acquacotta soup|alt=Acquacotta soup". North America1000 15:41, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
History[edit]
Paragraph 1[edit]
- Could you mention in this paragraph that "Acquacotta is Italian for "cooked water"? Similar to how you mentioned it in the lead?
- Done. North America1000 15:56, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Paragraph 2[edit]
- Could you reword the first sentence to "Acquacotta was partly created to make hard, stale bread edible.[5]"
- I rewrote the sentence to read: "Acquacotta was invented in part as a means to make stale, hardened bread edible." North America1000 15:59, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
- Since perhaps every reader of the article may not know what "pancetta" and "salt cod" is, I would provide a link to their respective articles please
- Done. North America1000 16:00, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Paragraph 3[edit]
- Since the last sentence here is so short and "matter of fact", I would replace the complete stop/period after "creating acquacotta" with a semi-colon instead; then you would lowercase the 'v' in "variations" as well
- Done. Makes sense. North America1000 16:06, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Ingredients[edit]
- Nothing to say here!
In contemporary times[edit]
- You may add an "oxford comma" after "fresh" in the first sentence if you'd wish; I'd prefer you do as you are listing things within a statement
- Done. North America1000 16:04, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
- Shouldn't "potato" be pluralized?
- Done. This works better in the sentence as it's worded. North America1000 16:04, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
- Shouldn't "vegetable" in "leaf vegetable/greens" be pluralized?
- Done. North America1000 16:04, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Variations[edit]
- For the last sentence, I would recommend switching out the period/complete stop with a semi-colon instead, must like how I mentioned you should do in the "History" section

End of GA Review:[edit]
Like I said previously, another fantastic article! I will allow seven days for you to make changes, but I have no doubt that you will take care of them within no time. Thanks again! Carbrera (talk) 21:32, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
