"Practical ethics"??!![edit]

Yes, according to 20th-21st century ears...otherwise the label "practical ethics" is anachronistic. If anything it should be translated as "bedside manners" or simply "manners" (as in etiquette) Rustumpasha (talk) 21:33, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we're translating it today, so it's not really necessary for us to worry about anachronism; using Modern English at all would be an anachronism in some sense. Nevertheless, I got the "practical ethics" translation from a scholarly source; I have no objection to changing that if there's a source saying that "manners" would be a better (or even a decent) one.
