US numbering[edit]

"The first four units were built as the eleventh, twelfth, twenty-ninth and thirty-eighth in the US Navy production run, with the final two units built in Australia."

According to the NVR Website (http://www.nvr.navy.mil/nvrships/s_FFG.htm) FFG 17, 18, 35, and 44 were the ones sent to austrialia.

FFG 11, 12, 29, and 38 are the CLARK, GEORGE PHILIP, STEPHEN W. GROVES, and CURTS Duck (8/24/07) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.167.170.14 (talk) 15:42, August 24, 2007 (UTC)

It didn't say they were FFG 11, 12, 29, and 38. It said "eleventh, twelfth, twenty-ninth and thirty-eighth" in the run. The class started at FFG 7, not 1, so the statement is perfectly fine.96.50.103.36 (talk) 15:28, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Useful source[edit]

Here is a useful source on the progress (and associated dramas) of the SEA 1390 FFG upgrade. I'm posting it here because I'm at work and don't have the time to make the necessary edits and overhauls of the section. -- saberwyn 02:21, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
