Hi. I'm afraid that since our licensing transition, GFDL-imports are not permitted. See wmf:Terms of Use. The verification process will need to complete. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:47, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good to know. Thinking about authoring a page on vertical ad networks, but not sure if it would be better to roll it up in Adify's page. Thoughts, anyone? --Courtlandsmith (talk) 21:06, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It would seem inappropriate to me to roll a subject-matter page up into the page of one company that competes in the space. Vertical ad networks can be its own page independent of Adify. Crasshopper (talk) 19:47, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quoting directly from Wikipedia's Companies project page because this seems relevant here:

Self-Promotion/Conflict of Interest[edit]
As Wikipedia's popularity has increased, there have been instances of companies or individuals working at companies creating or modifying articles in order to make their company appear more favorably. This practice is in violation of Wikipedia guidelines and is frowned upon by the community in general and this WikiProject. If you are one of those persons, you are asked to read WP:BFAQ, which will help you to understand why this practice is an issue.
In addition, please read the rating criteria guidelines, when adding a page to the WP:Companies project, to ensure that you do not appear to be trying to boost a company's visibility on Wikipedia for a gain.
